Symptoms do not tell the whole story
Benign enlargement, inflammation and other prostate conditions can cause similar symptoms. Having a large prostate does not mean you have cancer.
An assessment tailored to you
We review your symptoms, history and medicines. Examinations, laboratory tests, PSA and other investigations depend on your situation; not every patient needs the same tests.
Is surgery always needed?
No. Some patients improve with self-care measures or medicines. If a procedure is needed, the alternatives, risks and possible effects on urinary and sexual function are explained before deciding.
